Hello. What to say? Difficult to know. What would you like to see here? Doesn't matter I suppose. Either way, I suppose you'd like to know a little bit about 'what' and 'why' and whatever, right? So anyway, I have like... a zillion books in my room. Not actually a zillion but it's like that East Asian thing of saying '10,000' when you mean 'a LOAD' - I have loads of books. I haven't read many of them. These are books I have: got free outside the local library; bought for school/university; bought for fun/on a whim from a shop, full price (ouch); bought online on a whim (cheap!); charity shop books; books that have been given to me by other people; books 'lent' (given) to me; presents/gifts. I will be reading through like, all of them - aside from maybe the most obvious ones? I dunno, what do I even mean by that? - and writing about them. Kind of like a review but often long after the book has actually been published so more like a rereview. Belated review. Something like that. And gosh I might even sometimes write about a book I've already read but decided to re-read, or even re-re-read. Anyway please enjoy my writing, but - and even more so - please enjoy the books I will write about.
Why 読む? It's Japanese and it's pronounced 'yo-mu' and it means 'read'.
